Well, just to let everyone know, I finally received my funds from my sellers account. After receiving that second 30 day hold of my funds email from amazon, and replying to them that they have made a mistake by sending me that second 30 day hold of my money, my money was released. I'm not sure what the heck happened but after logging in to my Amazon sellers account, I seen a disbursement link with all of my funds available so I grabbed it all while I could. I don't know if this was a mistake by Amazon or what, and frankly I don't care. All I know is that I finally received my money that Amazon held on to for way too long.
Like I said, I don't know if it was a mistake or what. What I do know is that Amazon stated in the very last email they sent me that they would release some of my funds but would keep a portion of it as a reserve fund, just in case any money has to be returned to unsatisfied customers. I had no problem with this, but when all my money is available, and I want nothing more to do with you, I might as well take it all and day good bye to you.
This encounter with Amazon was one of the worst I have ever encountered with any website and I am still shocked that such a well known company would operate this way. Amazon may be a great place for buyers, I have actually personally bought from Amazon in the past and was very pleased. As a seller though, there are many other places that a seller would preferably sell and avoid the headaches. Amazon has done a good job offering buyer protection, but they are the worst company out there when it comes to seller protection.
